Use Ahrefs’ report through the user’s existing Toolmu connection and follow their current approval and spending limits. Ask only if the website link, country or date is missing. Accept a full country name and a readable date; convert them yourself. Use today if no date is supplied. Use the default whole-website range without asking about settings. Return up to 20 websites by default; follow a requested amount from 1 to 100 when allowed by spending limits. If an order is requested, put sites sharing more searches first. Show only information the report actually returns. Explain that these websites appear for some of the same searches as the target but may be publishers or information sites rather than business competitors. Monthly visits are estimates from regular search, not verified visits or the target website’s traffic. Do not promise a complete list. Do not add paid searches or exceed current authorization and spending limits.

Task:
For [https://example.com] in [United States] on [today], find up to [20] other sites that appear in some of the same search results. Show how many searches show both sites and their estimated monthly visits from search. Some may be publishers, not sellers of similar products.

Input schema
Field / Path	Type	Requirement	Meaning
queryParams`queryParams`	`object`	Required	Required fields `target, date, country`
Report date`queryParams.date`	`string`	Required	Required date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Selects the date of the reported metrics, not a retrieval timestamp or a daily count of visits. Pattern `^\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2}$`
Target scope`queryParams.mode`	`string`	Optional	Optional exact, prefix, domain or subdomains; default subdomains. exact selects this URL, prefix selects URLs beginning with the target, domain excludes subdomains, and subdomains includes them. Default `subdomains` Options `exact, prefix, domain, subdomains`
Competitor-record limit`queryParams.limit`	`integer`	Optional	Optional integer from 1 to 100; default 100. Caps returned records and does not guarantee a complete competitor list. Default `100` Minimum `1` Maximum `100`
Competitor filter`queryParams.where`	`string`	Optional	Optional JSON-encoded filter expression supplied as a string. Supported fields are competitor_domain, domain_rating, keywords_common, share and traffic. Omit it when unnecessary; confirm the reported share scale before applying a threshold. Minimum length `1`
Target domain or URL`queryParams.target`	`string`	Required	Required non-empty string, such as example.com or https://example.com/page. Together with mode and protocol, sets the target whose organic keyword overlap is examined. Minimum length `1`
Search country`queryParams.country`	`string`	Required	Required two-letter ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code, such as us. Selects the search market for the organic competition report. Minimum length `2` Maximum length `2`
Competitor sort order`queryParams.order_by`	`string`	Optional	Optional comma-separated fields, each optionally followed by :desc. Supported fields are competitor_domain, domain_rating, keywords_common, share and traffic. For example: keywords_common:desc,traffic:desc. Minimum length `1`
Target protocol`queryParams.protocol`	`string`	Optional	Optional both, http or https; default both. Selects the target URL protocol included in the report. Default `both` Options `both, http, https`

Additional notes

Ahrefs finds websites that appear for some of the same searches as the target. The report can show how many searches both websites share and an estimate of each other site’s monthly visits from regular search.

The list includes sites Ahrefs has data for, up to the amount requested. It may include articles, directories or information sites that do not sell the same products. Monthly visits are estimates, not verified visit counts or the target website’s traffic.
