Use the Ahrefs link totals report shown on this Toolmu page. Ask for a website or page link only if none was provided. If the user asks for current totals or gives no date, use today’s date. Convert ordinary dates such as October 1, 2026 into the date format this report needs; never ask the user to type a special date format. Check one page only if the user names a page. For a whole website, include its related website addresses unless the user asks to leave them out. Show the four totals separately: links currently counted, links recorded over time, websites linking now, and websites that have linked over time. Keep a missing number as not provided, not zero. Explain that the counts come from Ahrefs records and do not identify each website or page that linked. A historical total does not mean all those links still exist, and information may not be available for every date. One report uses one date; do not run another date without the user’s existing spending authorization. Respect the connected account and available balance; do not start a paid check without authorization.

Additional notes

The four figures answer two different questions: how many links Ahrefs records for the target, and how many distinct domains supply them. Read live totals separately from all-time totals; recorded history should not be presented as a set of links all confirmed to remain live.

State the target, report date, scope and protocol alongside the counts. For comparisons, use the same settings on both dates and obtain authorization for the additional request. A change in totals alone does not provide the source pages, anchor text or reasons behind the change.
