1. What this policy covers
This policy describes information handled when you browse toolmu, create an account, fund your balance, or use tools through our website, API, CLI, or MCP connection. References to toolmu, we, us, and our mean DATECH MEDIA DC LTD, the operator of the toolmu service. Our contact details are provided below.
Your AI assistant and the providers behind individual tools may process information under their own policies. This document covers toolmu's processing; it does not replace those providers' notices.
2. Information we handle
The information involved depends on the features you use. You should only submit information you are entitled to share, including information about other people.
- Account information: account identifiers, email address, profile details, workspace membership, and authentication records supplied by you or our identity provider.
- Tool activity: the tool selected, submitted prompts and parameters, file or resource references, execution identifiers, status, results, error details, timing, and associated usage charges. Tool inputs and outputs can be retained as part of execution history.
- Billing information: purchase amounts, currency, credit grants and usage, payment status, refunds, invoices, and payment-provider identifiers. Payment details entered in Stripe's checkout are processed by Stripe; do not send card numbers in tool inputs or support requests.
- Technical and support information: request and security logs, device or browser information made available with requests, and information you provide when asking for help.
3. Why we use information
We use information to authenticate users, manage access, send tool requests to the appropriate provider, return results, maintain execution history, calculate charges, process payments and refunds, resolve errors, answer support requests, and protect the service against misuse.
We may also use information to meet accounting and legal obligations, investigate disputes, and understand service reliability. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, the relevant bases may include performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent without affecting its prior lawfulness.
5. AI services and provider practices
toolmu connects you to tools; the presence of a tool in our catalog is not a promise that its provider never retains inputs or uses data for model improvement. Provider retention, training, processing locations, and confidentiality terms must be assessed for the selected service.
Do not submit passwords, private keys, payment credentials, or highly sensitive personal information unless the selected service is explicitly intended for that information and you have established an appropriate basis for processing it.
6. Retention and international processing
Account, execution, resource, security, and billing records serve different purposes and may need different retention periods. Retention periods are determined by the service delivered, dispute and security needs, contractual commitments, and legal recordkeeping obligations; this policy does not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.
Closing an account does not necessarily immediately remove legally required financial records, security evidence, backups, or information already processed by independent tool providers. Information may be processed outside your country. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, those safeguards must be in place for the relevant processing.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also have a right to complain to your local data protection authority. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.
You can review information available in your account and revoke API keys you no longer need. Revoking a key prevents future use of that key; it does not itself delete prior run or billing records. Contact us using the details below to request access, correction, deletion, or account closure. We may need to verify your identity and explain any records we must retain.
9. Security and age
We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to operating toolmu, but no system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting account credentials, API keys, connected agents, and the information you submit.
toolmu is intended for adults able to enter a binding contract, not for children under 18. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us using the details below.
10. Changes and contact
This policy is effective as of 2026-10-07. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. For privacy questions, use the operator contact details below.
