Use the website or page link the user provides. If they ask about the whole site, include the main site and related sites; if they ask about one page, limit the check to that page. Use a country only when the user names one, and handle its full name yourself. Use the requested date, or today’s date if they ask for current results. Show how many links point to the site and how many different site pages are linked as separate counts; show each AI service separately when available. If a value is missing, say no data rather than zero. Use a total for all services if the report provides one; do not add service counts together. This report counts links in AI answers Ahrefs tracks, not every AI answer. It gives numbers only, not original answers, quoted text or each link. It does not show mentions without a link, regular Google results, visits or sales. Use the user’s existing Toolmu connection within their available balance and permissions.

For the AI answers Ahrefs tracks, see how many links point to your website or page and how many different pages were linked. Results from each AI service are shown separately when available.

Start with your task

Check [https://example.com] in AI answers for [United States] today. Include the main site and related sites. Show link counts separately from the number of different pages linked.

What to know

Only AI answers Ahrefs tracks are counted, so results may not include every AI answer. Missing information does not mean there were no links. The report gives numbers only, not original answers, quoted text or each link. It does not show how many people visit or buy, where your site appears in regular Google results, or how often a company name is mentioned without a link.

Input schema

Input schema
Field / Path	Type	Requirement	Meaning
queryParams`queryParams`	`object`	Required	Required fields `target`
Report date`queryParams.date`	`string`	Optional	Optional report date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Supply today's date for current values; do not assume an omitted date selects a documented default. A second report date is a separate query. Pattern `^\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2}$`
Target URL scope`queryParams.mode`	`string`	Optional	Optional scope: exact selects this URL only; prefix selects URLs starting with the target; domain excludes subdomains; subdomains includes the domain and its subdomains and is the default. Default `subdomains` Options `exact, prefix, domain, subdomains`
Required domain or URL`queryParams.target`	`string`	Required	Required nonempty target, such as example.com or https://example.com/page. Use the scope setting to define which URLs belong to the report. Minimum length `1`
Country filter`queryParams.country`	`string`	Optional	Optional ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code, such as us. Keep this choice consistent when comparing targets. It is not a prompt-language selector or the visitor's detected location. Minimum length `2` Maximum length `2`
Protocol scope`queryParams.protocol`	`string`	Optional	Optional protocol scope: both includes HTTP and HTTPS by default; http or https restricts the target to that protocol. Default `both` Options `both, http, https`
