Additional notes

Choose a sampling granularity

The source supports day, week, month, year and all, with day as the default. These choices set the sampling granularity; they do not turn a cumulative observation into turnover for that period.

Prepare dates with a timezone

Optional start and end bounds use Unix seconds. Give your Agent the dates and timezone if you want a specific interval; the effective range when bounds are omitted is not specified.

Observation timestamps also use Unix seconds. They describe data-point times, not request completion or a guaranteed update schedule. The source does not define where accumulation begins, so do not reset cumulative values at the requested start or add observations together as a period total.

Preserve the reported scale

Keep the original numbers rather than labelling them as USD or shares or applying an assumed normalization. The official token-volume reference does not define their currency or quantity unit. Missing observations do not by themselves prove zero trading.
