What you enter
- queryParams.url, required: the public URL whose redirect chain you want to trace.
- max_redirects, optional: the maximum number of hops to follow.
What you get back
One call returns the HTTP redirect chain for that URL: for each hop, its status code, Location header, server and latency, up to the max_redirects limit you set.
The published output field list is not released, so read what the run returns rather than expecting a fixed column set.
Range and limits
- One URL per call.
- max_redirects caps the hops in the chain; leave it out to use the upstream default.
What this page will not do
- It does not create or change redirects.
- It does not open private or logged-in pages.
- It does not download files or preview the destination page.
- It does not follow JavaScript or meta-refresh redirects, scan for malware, or crawl a whole site.
Pay per use
One run is one billed call. The live execution contract authorizes at most $0.0594 of usage for that call, which reserves 0.07128 credits — the amount that can actually be charged — and never more. There is no subscription: the same prepaid balance also runs your other URL tools.
