Additional notes

Use the source’s city path identifiers together. For the documented /usa/new-york/new-york-city path, country is usa, state is new-york and city is new-york-city. The returned name, state and country help confirm the selected city; a display name alone is not the required input.

Keep AQI and concentration in separate columns. A pollutant row has its own aqi, concentration and unit, so read the numeric concentration with that row’s unit. The city AQI and pollutant AQIs are index values, not mass concentrations; do not average them or infer a calculation rule from matching numbers.

Keep the current record and forecasts on separate timelines. The current timestamp belongs to the source record, while hourly and daily forecast timestamps label predicted conditions.
