Compare referring-domain counts across websites

Supply 1–10 domains to compare how many linking sources DataForSEO records for each returned website. Read source domains separately from main-domain groups, including groups with at least one nofollow link.

You receive

Get a collection of target websites with four source counts: referring domains, referring main domains, and the corresponding groups with at least one nofollow link. The domain count treats source roots and subdomains separately; the main-domain count groups them under their root. Use these two views to compare recorded linking-source breadth across websites.

Start with your task

For [one to ten website addresses], show separate counts for each site and the main website it belongs to. Also count sites with at least one link labeled “nofollow.” The counts may overlap, and a missing result does not mean zero.

What to know

DataForSEO counts sources found with live links across any backlink attribute during its latest check. This does not guarantee a new full-web crawl, and the check time is not returned. The grouping views overlap; do not add them or subtract nofollow counts to claim follow-only sources. Counts do not provide source names, individual links, traffic or link-quality scores.

The domain measure counts a source root and its subdomains separately. The main-domain measure groups those sources by their primary root. They are overlapping views, not extra sources to add together, and neither counts individual backlinks or visitors.
