Use the Toolmu Tool bulk-backlink-count-dataforseo with the user’s list of websites. Ask for 1–10 website links; do not ask the user to remove the protocol, www or page path. Parse each valid link as a URL, use its hostname, remove the scheme, path, query and fragment, and remove only a leading www label. Preserve any other subdomain. Pass the resulting bare hostnames in domains. If the user supplies a bare host without a scheme, add https:// only for parsing when the value clearly identifies a hostname; otherwise ask for a website link.
