Find Google Keywords Shared by Two Domains
Paste two website links to see up to 20 search terms recorded for both in US English Google data. Compare the related pages and recorded positions; the list may be incomplete and does not show today's live rankings.
You receive
A list of shared keyword records with each domain’s available ranking-page URL, result type and positions. Available search-volume and difficulty metrics help you prioritize queries; an Agent can arrange the two websites side by side for further page analysis.
Start with your task
Compare [https://openai.com] and [https://anthropic.com] in U.S. English Google results. List searches where both appear, each site’s page and place, and keep regular results separate from ads. This data is updated weekly, not live.
What to know
The search context is fixed to the United States and English and includes organic and paid results. Individual keywords may be detected as another language. DataForSEO’s database updates weekly; the limited returned list does not establish current rankings or complete keyword coverage.

string
Second domain reported in the result. Keep the two target sides separate when arranging comparisons.

Matching database record countsharedKeywords.total_count
number
Supplier-reported amount of database records relevant to the request. It can exceed the returned list and does not establish complete current coverage.
Query text for the returned shared ranking record. Preserve the reported text rather than inferring it from the input domains.
Estimated average monthly searchessharedKeywords.items[].keyword_data.keyword_info.search_volume
number
Available approximate average monthly Google searches for the reported market. This is a search estimate, separate from individual historical months and website visits.
Available historical records with year, month and that month’s search-volume estimate. Use actual returned periods; do not fill missing months or assume twelve complete current records.
Historical average CPC in USDsharedKeywords.items[].keyword_data.keyword_info.cpc
number | null
Available average USD cost per ad click historically paid for the keyword. It is neither a current bid recommendation nor the Tool charge; null is not zero.
Available DataForSEO logarithmic 0–100 estimate of difficulty entering the first ten organic results. Lower is relatively easier; it is not a probability or a linear ratio.
When supplied, indicates whether detected query language differs from the requested language. Preserve false, true and missing values separately.

Recorded SERP-element type for this domain side. The lookup includes organic and paid results; interpret ranks with the actual returned type.

Additional notes
Use a shared query to choose a pair of pages for follow-up review. Check each page’s topic and audience before deciding on a content change; the returned ranking record alone does not perform that page analysis.
Paste the links for the two sites you want to compare, such as [https://openai.com] and [https://anthropic.com]. You can use the full links as they appear in your browser; no need to edit them.
The results can include up to 20 searches where both sites appear, but the list may be shorter. The country and language are already set to the United States and English.
Compare [https://openai.com] and [https://anthropic.com] in U.S. English Google results. List searches where both appear, each site’s page and place, and keep regular results separate from ads. This data is updated weekly, not live.
Check the recorded pages
Open the page links to see which page from each site appeared and where. Regular results and ads are listed separately. Data is updated weekly, so it may differ from today’s rankings.
Questions about this tool.
Inputs, results and details to know before running it.
This Tool returns shared ranking records for the two domains. It does not expose a gap or unique-keyword mode; queries absent from the returned list are not automatically keywords unique to either website.
Read the result type first. rank_group counts positions within the same type, while rank_absolute counts all result types. The field named position describes left/right alignment. Compare the two websites using the same rank measure and keep organic and paid contexts separate.
total_count reports relevant records in the supplier database; items_count reports returned records. This Tool requests at most 20 and does not offer paging. A short or empty response does not prove the domains have no shared keywords, and missing numeric fields must not be filled with zero.
Search volume is an approximate average monthly search estimate for the reported market. Historical monthly rows have their own year/month values. CPC is the historical average USD cost per ad click, not website visits, a guaranteed current campaign cost or the Tool charge.
No. Advertising competition is a Google Ads value from 0 to 1, with separate labels when available. DataForSEO keyword difficulty is a logarithmic 0–100 estimate for entering the first ten organic results. A lower score is relatively easier; neither metric is a ranking probability or a promise of traffic.
The lookup uses the fixed English language setting, but the supplier detects the language of each query independently. Keep the returned text and detected-language information; the setting does not certify that every query is English or request a translation.
The lookup uses the weekly updated DataForSEO Labs database. Available keyword and backlink fields can carry different update times. Running the lookup does not make every field current to that instant or provide continuous rank tracking.
Use the actual returned ranking-page URLs. They can identify paths or subdomain pages associated with each domain side. The input is a bare domain, and the result is a recorded keyword-and-page comparison rather than a full-site crawl.
