Market movers: gains, declines and trading activity

Request a Nasdaq market-movers overview without entering a company or stock code. Your assistant organizes the available lists of rising, falling and actively traded stocks or ETFs.

You receive

Receive the market-mover groups available in the response. Entries can include a symbol, an available name, a last-price label, price changes and a group-specific metric such as percentage change or share volume. Your Agent can organize gains, declines and activity into a brief, retaining each group’s headings and time information.

Start with your task

Show Nasdaq's available market movers. Summarize the returned lists of risers, fallers and active stocks or ETFs, keeping each list's labels and data time.

What to know

The received lists do not establish whole-market coverage, all Nasdaq-100 constituents or a universal ranking. An asset-class label does not mean every entry is ordinary stock. Group metrics and source times need separate interpretation; a dollar symbol alone does not declare a currency.

Do not infer a common-stock-only universe from the label. Read each security’s identity: an activity list can include ETFs, rights or warrants. The group label alone does not establish which security types are excluded.
