Choose personal for addresses associated with individuals, or generic for role-based mailboxes. Department, seniority and job-title filters use Hunter’s recorded classifications. A decision-maker label is inferred from seniority and department, so use it as context rather than proof of buying authority.

When source dates are present, they describe when Hunter first and last found an address at that source, rather than the page’s publication date. Confidence is Hunter’s estimate of address correctness, separate from a guarantee of successful delivery. Use limit and offset for explicit pages. A source-marked approximate total is a lower bound rather than an exact count.
