Use this lookup when you already know a social account. Choose its platform and supply its handle, profile slug or URL; a person's display name alone is not an account identifier.

Read the returned profile as account information. For GitHub, available details can include the username, display name, profile or avatar references, public counts, and selected repositories with links or languages. These GitHub details are not a common field list for every platform.

Keep public statistics and repository references in their original context. A repository subset does not establish all repositories, and an aggregate count does not reveal how its coverage was calculated. Links are references; fetching their pages or images is a separate step.
