Crawl website pages into Markdown

Provide a starting webpage URL and use Context.dev to collect readable page text as Markdown. Choose how many pages to read, how far to follow links and which page sections to keep.

You receive

You receive the collected page text in Markdown, with available details such as page addresses and titles to identify the source. Your Agent can use that text to summarize information or compare the selected pages. The result can also include success, failure and skipped-page counts, the reached link depth and cache details. These help you understand the scope and timing of the material returned.

Start with your task

Read [webpage link, e.g. https://example.com] and the pages linked directly from it. Return the text of up to [number of pages, e.g. 5] pages total, including the starting page, in an easy-to-read format.

What to know

The crawl is bounded by page, depth and time limits and depends on which content the service can reach. It does not guarantee complete website coverage. Cached results may be reused within your chosen age limit, which defaults to one day; request a new fetch when older content is unsuitable.

Get connected

Not necessarily. maxPages limits the page count, maxDepth limits how far links are followed, and stopAfterMs gives the crawl a soft time budget. Unreachable or failed pages can also leave gaps. Start with a small scope, then decide whether more pages are needed.
