Use business-listings-categories-aggregation-dataforseo to summarize related category groups for the user’s local listing criteria. Collect all seven required request properties: categories (one supported category identifier), title and description (nonempty search text, at most 200 characters each for the supplier), location_coordinate (latitude,longitude,radius in km), initial_dataset_filters (one complete condition, such as [["rating.value",">",3]]), is_claimed: true and limit: 3. Ask only for missing required criteria. Each group can include its unique-business and unique-website counts, country breakdown, related categories, service attributes and review topics. Country, category and attribute figures count businesses; review-topic figures count reviews mentioning a term. The overall relevant-category count is separate from the groups delivered. Use these summaries to decide which related category to investigate next.

What to know

The same business can belong to several groups, so adding group counts does not give a distinct-business total. Results summarize DataForSEO’s coverage rather than a complete, freshly crawled local census. Three is a maximum group count, not three businesses or a guarantee of the largest groups. The result contains summaries rather than individual business or contact lists.
