Use Toolmu's batch-reddit-post-details-reddit. Ask only for missing full Reddit post-page URLs copied from the browser address bar, one per line, up to 5 posts. If more than 5 links are supplied, ask which up to 5 to query. Use a URL parser and Reddit's documented canonical post-route model [/r/subreddit]/comments/article to obtain the confirmed base36 article identity from each full post URL. Construct its t3_ fullname as documented at https://www.reddit.com/dev/api/#fullnames and required by this exact APP endpoint. Do not identify a post with substring checks, regex guesses, its title or a comment identity. If a URL cannot be confidently parsed as the requested post, ask for a working full post-page link before executing; do not request a technical ID, silently omit the post or invent one. Send the confirmed post fullnames joined by English commas as queryParams.post_ids, at most 5. Leave include_comment_id and need_format at their false defaults for this task; no specific-comment context is requested. Leave the response-language preference at its documented default unless I request a language, in which case prepare its language tag internally. Use only fields and correspondence actually returned to arrange titles, authors, content, community information, upvotes and comment counts in a readable comparison table. Do not promise complete results for every post, exact publication timestamps, all comments, media downloads or deleted-content recovery. Honor my current spending authorization before the single batch lookup and do not automatically retry a paid call. If Toolmu is not connected, follow https://toolmu.com/get-started.

Input schema

Input schema
Field / Path	Type	Requirement	Meaning
Post-detail query`queryParams`	`object`	Required	Required query object. Put the confirmed post fullnames in post_ids and use optional settings only when needed. Required fields `post_ids`
Preferred response language`queryParams.language`	`string`	Optional	Optional IETF language tag, default en-US, 2–16 characters. This sets a response-language preference; it does not guarantee that every original post is translated. Default `en-US` Pattern `^[A-Za-z]{2,3}(?:-[A-Za-z0-9]{2,8})*$` Minimum length `2` Maximum length `16`
Reddit post fullnames`queryParams.post_ids`	`string`	Required	Required comma-separated list of up to 5 t3_ post fullnames, such as t3_1ojnh50,t3_1ok432f. The AI prepares these from your full post links; do not send links, bare IDs, or t1_ comment IDs directly in this field. Pattern `^t3_[a-z0-9]{1,17}(?:\s,\st3_[a-z0-9]{1,17})*$` Minimum length `4` Maximum length `104` Examples `t3_1ojnh50,t3_1ok432f,t3_1nwil8j`
Specific comment fullname`queryParams.comment_id`	`string`	Optional	Optional t1_ comment fullname, used with include_comment_id=true. It identifies a comment and cannot replace a t3_ post fullname in post_ids. Pattern `^(?:\|t1_[a-z0-9]{1,17})$` Maximum length `20`
Request cleaned data`queryParams.need_format`	`boolean`	Optional	Optional boolean, default false. Set true to request the supplier’s cleaned and formatted response. The AI’s comparison table is a separate presentation of the returned fields. Default `false`
Include one comment’s context`queryParams.include_comment_id`	`boolean`	Optional	Optional boolean, default false. Set true when you want context for the specific comment supplied in comment_id. This does not request every comment under a post. Default `false`

Additional notes

Prepare the posts you want to compare

Open each Reddit post and copy its full page link from the browser address bar. Put one link on each line and select no more than five posts for one lookup. A subreddit homepage or a search-results page does not identify the individual posts you want to compare.

Your AI prepares the post identifiers from those links. For a direct API request, this endpoint uses Reddit post fullnames with the t3_ prefix, separated by English commas. A comment uses a different t1_ prefix, so a comment identifier cannot stand in for a post identifier.

Read the returned comparison

Ask for one row per post, with the title, author, community, available text, and returned upvote and comment counts. Keep each result tied to its original post link so you can review the discussion in context. The comparison table is prepared by your AI from the response; it is not a separate analysis report supplied by Reddit.

Counts are the values returned for this lookup. They do not show how engagement changed over time. If a field is missing, the table should identify it as not returned rather than inventing a value or treating it as zero.

Use specific-comment context when it matters

For a task about one particular comment, the API offers an optional comment-context setting. It uses that comment’s t1_ identifier alongside the selected post identifiers. Leave the setting off for a normal comparison of posts. Requesting one comment’s context does not promise a complete comment thread.

Get connected

Yes. Paste the full links into your AI task. The AI prepares the post fullnames for this Tool. A direct API call must put the confirmed comma-separated t3_ fullnames in queryParams.post_ids; the endpoint does not accept those URLs in that field.
