# Creator partnership research

## Before you start

Read [the shared research contract](../connect-toolmu/references/research-data.md) and [marketplace usage](../connect-toolmu/references/marketplace-usage.md). Use the existing Toolmu connection. The agent performs analysis; Toolmu supplies the evidence.

## Inputs

Product/brand, audience, platform, country/language, campaign objective, constraints, and any example creators.

Ask only for information that changes the task. Accept ordinary links and names; resolve technical identifiers from verified results. Confirm missing market or scope before dependent paid calls.

## Tool selection

Inspect the current contract with Toolmu `get_tool`, then call `execute_tool` only for the steps that need data:

- `search-users-instagram`
- `get-user-data-by-username-instagram`
- `get-user-posts-instagram`
- `find-xiaohongshu-creators-xiaohongshu`
- `pgy-blogger-filter-options-xiaohongshu`
- `xiaohongshu-pugongying-creator-summary-xiaohongshu`
- `search-youtube-channels-youtube-api-v1-youtube-web-v2-search-channels`
- `youtube-channel-information-youtube`
- `youtube-channel-videos-youtube`

The catalog's current input and credit ceiling override examples in this document. Do not fabricate parameters, silently use a different supplier, or treat a search snippet as full source content.

## Workflow

1. Define campaign fit before searching: audience need, relevant topics, platform, location, language, budget context, and disqualifying content.

2. Use creator search for one platform first. Where filter values require a provider dictionary, fetch the documented filter options instead of inventing category IDs.

3. Review up to ten candidates and inspect recent relevant posts for the best five. Record publication consistency, topic fit, sponsored examples, and visible engagement.

4. Separate verified provider audience fields from inferred audience fit. Follower counts alone do not establish audience location, authenticity, or purchase intent.

5. Create a shortlist with reasons for inclusion and specific risks or missing data. Mark publicly listed business contact as observed, absent, or not checked; do not guess private email addresses.

6. Draft one relevant collaboration angle and a brief for each finalist. Rank with explicit tradeoffs rather than a fabricated universal creator score.

## Deliver

A shortlist with profile/post links, observed audience/content evidence, campaign fit, missing data, indicative price only when sourced, and a draft collaboration brief.

Include source links, actual market/date, returned sample size, missing coverage, run IDs, and confirmed credits. Let the user's agent choose the presentation; do not invoke an MCP App or a render tool.

## Boundaries

This is research, not verified contact enrichment or automatic outreach. Do not send messages, buy lists, or guarantee genuine followers or campaign returns.

## Example request

> Find [five] creators for [brand] in [market] on [platform], with evidence and collaboration ideas.
