# Article SEO and GEO review

## Before you start

Read [the shared research contract](../connect-toolmu/references/research-data.md) and [marketplace usage](../connect-toolmu/references/marketplace-usage.md). Use the existing Toolmu connection. The agent performs analysis; Toolmu supplies the evidence.

## Inputs

An article URL or draft, target reader and query, market, and facts or claims the author can substantiate.

Ask only for information that changes the task. Accept ordinary links and names; resolve technical identifiers from verified results. Confirm missing market or scope before dependent paid calls.

## Tool selection

Inspect the current contract with Toolmu `get_tool`, then call `execute_tool` only for the steps that need data:

- `onpage-content-parsing-dataforseo`
- `google-organic-serp-search-dataforseo`
- `google-keyword-overview-dataforseo`

The catalog's current input and credit ceiling override examples in this document. Do not fabricate parameters, silently use a different supplier, or treat a search snippet as full source content.

## Workflow

1. Read the complete supplied draft or accessible article. Summarize the reader's question and the article's intended answer before proposing changes.

2. Check the target query's current organic results and read up to three relevant pages. Identify the expected page type, depth, questions, and proof; do not copy competitors' wording.

3. Review title, opening answer, headings, examples, links, author/source information, and outdated or unsupported claims. Separate observed omissions from editorial preferences.

4. For answer-engine readability, make entities and scope explicit, place concise answers next to supporting sources, and make comparisons and definitions easy to quote accurately.

5. Return concrete before/after edits for the highest-impact passages. Preserve the author's claims only when supported; flag facts needing a source rather than inventing citations.

6. Offer an outline and factual verification checklist. Use keyword metrics as context, not a reason to repeat a phrase unnaturally.

## Deliver

A short diagnosis, a prioritized edit table with original passage and suggested replacement, revised title/description/outline, and linked evidence. Distinguish edits ready to use from facts the author must verify.

Include source links, actual market/date, returned sample size, missing coverage, run IDs, and confirmed credits. Let the user's agent choose the presentation; do not invoke an MCP App or a render tool.

## Boundaries

There is no invented universal GEO score or guarantee of AI citation. Do not claim a rewritten article has been published.

## Example request

> Review [article URL or draft] for [target query] and suggest specific changes for [audience].
